DIONNE’S PROFILE

Hi! I’m Dionne. I am a mommypreneur and digital nomad who has been working in the field of Education and Training Development for 15 + years.

I am a native English speaker and experienced instructor. As a professional instructor in English Education, I’ve taught Business English, General English, Conversational English  and Pronunciation classes. I’ve also worked as an IELTS examiner and CELPIP Rater. As a Corporate Trainer, I’ve trained company staff in Customer Service and Sales, Accent Neutralization, other soft-skills programs. I enjoy my work in Course Design as a Developer and my passion is Online Learning and Online Teacher Training & Support.

My background: I studied at York University in Toronto where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Sociology. I have Master’s degree candidate in Adult Education. Additionally, I have a post graduate TESOL/TESL diploma and a certificate in the field of Early Childhood.

I strongly believe that the highlight of my career is helping others through incorporating technology and skills training to break barriers. By leveraging the internet, I break the barrier of time and space, as I help people online across different time zones to an international audience worldwide. I dub my profession ” Mommypreneur Digital Nomad” as I have managed to make the world my office through the web and travel.

During the lessons I deliver, regardless of the topic, I strive to build on the confidence of participants by providing an absolutely comfortable learning atmosphere, filled with fun, humor, warmth while learning. By doing this, participants feel at ease and have a positive learning experience too! Hence, my motto…
